FRED
Hello my name is Fred McMuffin, because .. . well just look at me! The humans around me never tire of my cute little face and believe me I know how to use it to my advantage. I am rather small for a boxer, hence the cuteness level, about 40 lbs, and under 1 year of age, but what I may lack in size I certainly make up in energy. I love and I mean LOVE to run. You know you've seen us boxers when we start zooming around the yard at light speed and still manage to avoid all obstacles in our way. That's me, Fred the gazelle! My foster mummy says I get the "zoomies" when I am in the yard and she gets quite a kick out of watching me tear through it as if a bunch of nasty felines were chasing my cute behind. One of my favorite activity is playing with other canines and I sure know how to peek their interest by doing the most adorable play bow. Guess what, they fall for it every time, so needless to say I am quite the popular guy around the neighborhood. If there is no one around to play with, I also know how to entertain myself: just give me my favorite stuffed toy and I will chase it and throw it up in the air for hours. But of course like any boxer worth his breed I am also a cuddle bug when the time comes to settle down with my humans. I love people and cannot be denied their attention. I am also pretty good on the leash, I know my SIT even if sometimes I pretend not to and will look up at you with an air of complete disbelief. Just don't fall for my little tricks, OK maybe fall for some of them, because after all what is an adorable boxer of my caliber to do with all this cuteness?????

Ethel the Pistol: yep that's my name loverboys, deal with it! I have a really lovely petite figure and know how to attract the attention of the opposite sex. However I am not so easy to get to. A girl has to be wined and dined before she lets her guards down a bit. And that is just who I am. Don't you even think you big dopy labrador that you can sneak up from behind and have your ways with me. Talk about a rude awakening! I will let you know in no uncertain terms how to appropriately woo a lady, even more so if I am on a leash. I'll teach you some manners big guy! With my humans I am all about love, peace and understanding. OK maybe I am slightly exaggerating about the peace part...I actually love all sorts of activities and sports (a girl has to keep her figure after all!) I love to run, I am more the track racer than the marathon woman and I guarantee you I will beat your time any day. I am also pretty competitive at hurdles and catching and retrieving any flying objects, especially if they happen to be stuffed toys. With the love part I am not kidding though, I am a total social butterfly and love human attention. I am also a GREAT kisser:I know boys you think I am such a tease but it happens to be the truth! I am loyal to a fault and will be there for you no matter what. I am young, about 10 months old, spunky and gorgeous. I am looking for a life companion who will not be intimidated by my "looks" and realizes that underneath all the bravado lies a heart of gold.. or diamond if you are so inclined!

Update Fred & Ethyl in their new foster home
all is well, no fights whatsoever! The puppies are playing the way puppies play, they sleep together on the couch at night. Both have been on walks with other dogs. One thing we have to say: they need a little bit of leash training!
Fred & Ethlyback on the market. Unfortunately the puppies got into a fight over food on the first day in their new home, and the family gave them back. We are puzzled by it because they lived with other dogs and have NEVER fought ! They are now in a foster home and will be observed to see what was going on. We like to keep them together and start taking applications again. |

FRED & ETHYLThis very bonded pair of Boxers was found wandering the street for a while when they were found skinny and very hungry. The search for their owner was unsuccessful. Fred & Ethyl are currently in a foster home where they sleep in the human bed. Even though they are less than a year old, both puppies are mature enough to let you know when it is time for a bathroom break. They also get along with the other dogs in the household. Fred & Ethyl would like to share a forever home together. |
